What does California Criminal Code 5201 Mean?

5201	Position Of Plates
5201.1(A)	shield or device that obstructs or impairs the reading of a license plate by an electronic device operated by state law.
5201.1(B)	Shall not operate vehicle with product or device that obscures reading of license plate.
5201.1(C)	Erase / Alter / Paint Over Reflective Coating Of License Plate.
5201(B)	License Plate Covering
5201(C)	Any shield or device that obstructs or impairs the reading of a license plate by an electronic device operated by state law.
5201(D)	A casing, shield, frame, border, product, or other device that obstructs or impairs the reading or recognition of a license plate by an electronic device operated by state or local law enforcement.
